well.. this is the same doily that mary did only .. i didnt know she was doing hers and she didnt know i was doing mine..

i did this with a sport weight cotton.. i wanted it bigger and alittle heavier.. it is about 12 1/4 " inches across.. and i steamed it slightly wth an iron.. I havent full out blocked it yet..

I used the same pattern as mary did ..

thanks girls.. i was really unsure when i started working on it in variegate.. before i steamed it.. i was like .. ummmm its ok but not liking it so much .. that pressing last night really made the difference.. i need to do a full block so the edges really show out.. just have to make myself a large bblocking board.. I can see a doily / table topper obsession coming on .. LOL..
