I like those! I've never carried a purse. I'm finally getting tired of carrying my keys, wallet, and cell phone that I think I want a purse now. I just don't want to buy one. What yarn did you use? Did you line it? Do you really need to line a purse if you have a non-stretch yarn?

I chain for as long as I want the purse to be. I have done 104 for this tote. I fold them and then single crochet to close the bottom and the side, I don't do 2 separate sides, then I do single crochet up until I think is high enough and then crochet 2 straps and attach them to the purse. I used Mainstays yarn 4 ply worsted weight yarn, net weight 8oz
