:cheer :tup :nworthy That turned out great! I'm so jealous, I think I only have 10 squares done! LOL! I spend too much time here looking at what everybody else has made! I gotta finish this! I think I can ... I think I can...I think I can! Thanks for the beautiful motivation!

That looks great! My mother bought me this pattern kind of by mistake when I was looking for baby blanket patterns, and I've been a bit intimidated to try it because of some of the posts I've read here. Is it very difficult, or is it just time consuming?

That is gorgeous! How much yarn does that take?

I made a post in my craft blog about the relative costs of different yarns to make this

http://www.livejournal.com/users/craftybat/1006.html

This is presuming using 3 colors like the pattern suggests.

Alli,

The afghan you just finished was my very first project (a couple of years ago) and now my sister is working on the same one. I learned SO much when I made that with all the different patterns. Since then I've made 7 different afghans, lots of doily's, hats and now I'm big into felting, I'm hooked. So look out, you're well on your way.

Great job on the afghan, looks great!

Wow, good for you. :cheer That looks great. I am not sure I would ever get one done. I have the book, but have to much trouble with some of the stitches & gauge.
