sculptured swans

:cheer i have been looking on the forum and have seen some of the
:crochetingcrochet sculptured swans i have previously done one many years ago in the shape of a basket for sweets noticed on the forum some one has done one. Has anyone got a pattern that they can share with me.

i'm looking for one where the back of the swan is the shape of a bowl to be able to put sweets into i want to be able to do them for a friends wedding in november

Is this more of what you are looking for? I've had this pattern for a long time now, got it off the web, glad I saved it when I did but now the only way to get it is off the archives and that's not allowed on here.

Another idea, if you wanted. You could do a candy bowl type thing, and then do a swan neck and head. There are a few here Free! Three-Dimensional Swan Doily Pattern (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74717&highlight=swan) for patterns.

If you go to Crochet Pattern Central and search "candy dish" you will find a few...

I hope this will help , Decorative Crochet Magazine number 34 has some sculptured swans in it, They look like baskets , hope you can find that magazine.
