The gang's all here!!!! Finally I have them all done. Now, what am I supposed to do? I've ordered some teddy bear patterns but they are not here yet.
These were done using a Leisure Arts book "Pooh & Friends Crochet". I used worsted weight yarns and mostly a size G hook. There were such fun to put together. Now I just have to find a place to keep them until I have grandchildren. Oh, I have to make another Tigger for my daughter (the Marine), she fell in love with it.
Enjoy!http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y228/FelixLake/PoohFriends.jpg

For all those who are interested. The patterns were not that hard to follow. The secret is just counting carefully. It's all just single crochet and slip stitches.
The Pooh leg was confusing, but if you just realize that you have to skip the chain between the single crochet behind the leg, then it makes sense.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me, now that I've figured it out, I'd be more than happy to help others. Believe me... I frogged the legs more than once trying to understand the directions. I also actually had nightmares over those legs.

you did a great job on them. the reason some of you have had the problem with phoo's leg, is that the pattern was off, leisure arts put a different one out later because of the discovery. if you have the old pattern(the one which is messed up) maybe you can e-mail them and they can give you the correct pattern. i need to make some of those too, i love phoo and piglet and eyeore, but tigger is my favorite. ti double grrrrrrr LOL graetjob again :manyheart vicki

When I tried and tried to make Pooh and got so darn frustrated with his leg I emailed them several times and asked what am I doing wrong and they tried to tell me there's no problem with the pattern :think But they did try to explain the leg instructions better for me. I have to say if the pattern was wrong and other people had trouble too it makes me feel so much better :) I thought there was something wrong with me. I hate to be happy other's had problems but gosh darnit I knew there was something wrong. Now I'm irritated that they didn't look at it then and say the pattern is wrong , here's the corrections:irk Instead led me to belive I can't read a pattern not cool people :angry Stepping down now:soap
Kinda funny how Pooh & his Friends caused such a contraversy :lol

Alisha,
You're right about the controversy. I emailed them myself and they said that the instructions were correct as written. They then sent me a page explaining the instructions. I never read the email instructions, but finally figured it out myself in one of those 'A-Ha' moments.
What I found funny is that each character had a different way of attaching the legs/arms/etc. It's like someone different wrote each pattern (which they probably did). Anyway, the instructions were correct, they just did a bad job in explaining the directions. Illustrations would have been great.

By the time I got the explanantion I was so fed up I couldn't make myself try again, and by now I'm sure I've thrown away the pieces of Pooh I had started on.I plan to try again & if I have any questions I'm asking you :)
You have inspired me to try again :hug

Somewhere somebody did the ones in thread in worsted and said they worked up fine, actually they said the patterns were less confusing.

Do you mind if I ask what yarn you used for Eeyore? The booklet calls for blue/violets, but it looks like you used grays?
Thanks,

They were quicker to do than I thought they would be. The hardest part was deciding which one to do first.

A donkey named Eeyore is his friend...and Kanga and little Roo...there's Rabbit and Piglet, then there's Owl....but most of all there's Winnie the Pooh... lol
My dd loves the move Heffalump and of course the classic: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. We do have the heffalump movie but I can't find the adventures of winnie the pooh. :( My favorite out of the whole bunch is T-I double GRRR....the wonderful thing about tiggers is tiggers a wonderful thing, their heads are made out of rubba, their tails are made outa springs....their bouncy, flouncy, trouncy sprouncy fun fun fun fun fun, the wonderful thing about tiggers is I'M the only one, yes I'M the only ONE
Ahem...I think I better go home now.....:embar
Oh btw: I love the animals...I haven't even attempted to make them yet...

I'm so glad this got bumped! I have a friend that just did her son's nursery in a Pooh theme and I've been eyeing that pattern book. The finished product looks so good, I'm going to have to give it a shot. I guess the book is out of print, but there are several on Ebay. I hope I can figure out how to attach the legs. It seems like that's stumped a lot of people.
