New Capelet

In Seeking Patterns Buggaboosmommy posted a link to a website selling crocheted capelets here (http://www.rosylittlethings.com/rosy_little_things/pippa_and_paige/capelets.html). She made herself one and I thought I'd give one a go, I like the way it just covers the shoulders so I can wear it with a sleeveless dress.

I love that shade of red. I made one of these myself by analyzing the pictures and it took me umpteen tries and a lot more than a couple of hours before I got it right. Great job! :tup

I did wear it with a pair of jeans last night to church. I was wearing black jeans, a black sleeveless top and the capelet. The church can get a bit chilly and it was perfect for keeping my shoulders from getting chilled.

It took me longer the first time I tried it when I was analyzing it but after than when I did the final one it only took a max of about 3 hours.

I sure can't see paying $43 for something I can make myself :wink
