Hello,
I have saw a pattern that uses small doilies to make a dress for a doll that goes on a bed or a toilet paper cover..it uses several of them and goes around the doll...at the top and bottom...the top of the dress is like a ribbon and it has a hat that is a doily also...they are attached with yarn strings in the center od each and at top...if any help I will appreciate...
Thanks,
craftysis

Hookmaster...if Annies Attic has it...do you know if it is sold in any store..like Michaels or somewhere like that...I have saw it and didnt know which book or where it was at...I used to make the ones with the milk discs years ago..and it would be so pretty in doilies...but also ordering off the Internet is so expensive the shipping is that is...if anyone can help with a store that sells the book I would appreciate it...save me the shipping cost...
Thanks...craftysis

crochetgirl...it is so cute....the doilies are around the doll...at the waste...they are close and attached with strings from yarn...tied together...then at the bottom of that, at bottom is another round of doilies that are apart some attached also with yarn strings tied together...but they are opened some in the middle and attached at the top and the sides..really hard to tell...did you ever see the milk pads doll....the top of the dress is a ribbon wrapped around the chest and across the waist...then the waist round of doilies are next...hope I didnt confuse you...I dont have a pic...sorry..

Is this (http://www.anniesattic.com/detail.html?code=834963) the doll you're looking for? It says it's an Annie's Attic exclusive so it may not be sold anywhere else. I never see pattern books or leaflets from Annie's Attic in my Michaels or Joanns. In fact, they don't stock much of anything. Usually when I'm looking for a specific pattern I HAVE to order it online. I hear you on the shipping charges. They'll bang you 5 bucks to ship when you know it will cost less than a buck. :( I checked ebay for you and nothing came up.

Annie's Attic is the only place I have seen it. It is in there catalog for $7.95 with $4.95 shipping.

YEA, I got me the pattern for the Milk Disc Doll, I broke down and got it....bought another one so the shipping and handling wouldnt be so bad....and also, I am a long time viewer of the free patterns of Annies Attic..the other day it had a pattern for plastic canvas, I do not remember it ever having anything other than crochet, does anyone else remember anything else?...just wondering...
Thanks

Craftysis, I am looking forward to seeing your dolls when they are all finished! I am sure they will be beautiful! Annie's Attic has started to include other crafts in their free daily pattern list....I saw the plastic canvas one too last week as well as a knitting pattern for a bag.......since they do have supplies for other crafts, I suppose that it is just fair to include them every now and then too! You can check this link to see all the patterns that have been offered.........not the patterns per se, but just the titles and what books/magazines or sites you can find them in/on.............
