Hi All! I need your help again! I'm teaching preteen/teenage Girl Scouts tonight how to crochet. I have been searching for a simple thong type bookmark that has single crochet, can't seem to find any! Does anyone know where I can find such a pattern? (I'm starting to make my own right now, but would prefer to see what else is out there) Thanks, Dee

Hi Dee,
I did this one a while back and loved it.

However, it is done in thread; would that be too challenging for a beginner? If you do choose to do it, they look great and only take about 30 minutes to whip up. My biggest challenge was finding beads with a center hole big enough.
Hope that helps!

I don't think the Bookworm Bookmark (http://www.freecraftunlimited.com/bookworm.html)would be too difficult. It's made with yarn.
And Pinky is my all-time favorite bookmark however to get to the pattern you have to belong to www.msn.com (http://www.msn.com/). The site is HappyHookeraCrochetersParadise (http://groups.msn.com/HappyHookeraCrochetersParadise) then look for Percy the Bookmark under Members Patterns.
