Do you enjoy browsing Show-and-Tell? Would you like digging through old Show-and-Tell threads? Do you have a yen organizing things? Then we need you! :yes
We are excited to announce that we will soon relaunch Crochetville's Show-and-Tell forum with many new subforums for different types of projects. This has been in the works for some time, and we are looking forward to implementing it!
We are requesting volunteers to help us organize the many, many existing threads in Show-and-Tell. There are really very few Show-and-Tell forums right now, so when the new subforums are in place, we will need people to move old threads around into the appropriate new categories. This will help keep things organized and easy to browse, which is the purpose of the new system.
If you would like to be a volunteer, here's what you need to know. Volunteers will need to be comfortable using the forum's moderation tools to move threads between Show-and-Tell forums. Don't worry, there will be a tutorial with screenshots, and you can always ask us questions. And you won't have access to any tools that could "really mess things up." :lol But if you consider yourself "not a computer person," this probably isn't the job for you. If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will receive an additional special user title of Show-and-Tell Organizer.
