Evening shawl

I absolutely detested the first nine rows of this pattern (http://www.craftown.com/crochet/pat51.htm), but after that it was a breeze, and turned out with such perfect shawl shaping. I love the finished project,...used TLC Baby in "Lime", almost 2 skeins. I got this on clearout for $2 a skein.

wow, thanks for all the compliments. If I hadn't have seen the one Beth made I probably would have never tried this pattern out from the little snippet they have on their pattern page. I think my troubles with the first rows were that I had miscounted in row 2 or 3 and then the problems just continued, til I caught on to how the pattern should look, not just what (I thought) the directions were telling me.
