Solomon's knot help

Can someone give me some clear directions (or maybe a website?) that explains how to do Solomon's Knot? I love the look of the really lacy, open stitch, but I can't seem to figure it out from the directions I've seen. Also, does it matter what size hook you use to make a Solomon's knot? Can you use a smaller size, or do you have to use something larger? Also, if you have any recs for any similar open stitches, I'd love you forever. Thanks! :ty
