looking for a doily pattern that I think is called dancing pineapples. anyone ever hear of that one? :think dont know where or by who it was published. can anyone point me in the direction where I might find it (I've looked on the net but no help) Bert:hook

I'm curious, too, about this pattern. I did a search on the enternet and at Ebay. Didn't find it but I'll keep an eye out.

Hi Bert,
There is a beautiful doily in the Crochet Home & Holiday 1999 issue that is called "Dancing Petals". It is absolutely gorgeous!
I'm not really a doily girl...but who knows - even I may try to attempt this one!
It is is layered....fluted around and under the flutes it has small pineapples.
Could this be what you are looking for??
