Hi! My family is a bunch of sports nuts. The funny thing is they all like different teams. I am in search of a pattern book that has sport logos to crochet. I'm aware of copyright protection and am wanting to buy a book from a legitimate website. Does anyone know where I can find such a book? Thanks in advance. (No freebies this time. Like I said, I want it to be legit and avoid copyright problems):)

I don't know about such a book, but there's nothing wrong with copying a team graphic onto a blanket if it is strictly just for your family's personal 'snuggle under and watch the game' use.

You could find a logo on the web and turn it into a graph-ghan with this:

Have fun!

there used to be a book out that had patterns for all the teams to x-stitch onto when the blanket was done

Thanks but I've tried this. I want something with more detail than that thing allows. I have used it before though

I had a book with football teams done in afghan stitch, is that the kind your looking for? But I found out with the afghan stitch you can make almost any crosstitch pattern into a blanket.

Its pretty old. 1987 but most of them are pretty much the same from what i can see. but i am not really into it. I want to make the Detroit Lions for my fiance and it looks the same. It has a big football helmet and the log in the middle then the blanket is done in the team colors. Its called Afghan, Lap Robe and Pillow by Nomis.

I just looked on e-bay and a sale just ended, it sold for 36.00!!! I only paid 5.50 for mine! I guess it depends on how much you want it.
