Christmas Tree Skirt

Does anyone know where to locate patterns for a Christmas Tree Skirt? Prefer the FREE kind of pattern. Can be made of yarn or thread. Would like something pretty but not too fancy. I would like to make this for my fellow co-worker who mentioned that she does not have one. Thought I would surprise her!
