freeform tatting

hello everyone!
i needle tat in addition to crochet and am woondering if anyone has ever seen or done a tatted freeform peice?im currently working on one.if anyone else is or has, i would be delighted :jumpyayfor any help and just to see what you have made

Envy envy.

I have longed to learn to tat, and my MIL tried so hard to teach me, but I was unteachable. She taught me crochet, no troubles at all, but tatting was just one great knot. Needle tatting I've not tried, and perhaps I'd have better luck with that. Next time I get near a craft store I'll look for a tatting needle. (That will be a while, I live on the other side of the county from the craft stores.)
