Here are my two versions of Crochet Monkey's Pattern
For this one I used Lopi that I dye in kool aid

I added the carabiner (a repelling hook) that clamps on the belt loop. Ideally I would have liked a smaller one, but couldn't find the one I wanted to use..so I used this one for picture purposes.
This one was made using Fisherman's wool that we also dyed with kool aid. (both cozy's were made using scraps left over from previous projects)

The pattern worked up great and was easy to do. I made one while my kids ate lunch and the other while they swam outside yesterday. It took longer to full them to stitch both of them. Not sure if it was my yarn choices or becuase I tend to stitch tightly, the stitch definition was still there after several washings but all in all, I like the pattern.
