I got the idea for this from www.craftster.org
I used Inca 100% Alpaca wool in a cream colour. I'd like to thank my new friend Scarlett for modelling it for me (click for close ups):

Whoa, have you been reading my mind! :eek I've been wanting to do a shrug using that stitch but haven't had the time yet. Beautiful job, by the way, it looks so feminine and delicate. Is there a pattern available?

Awww thanks everyone. You can find the "pattern" or schematics on craftster. I just followed the directions and it came out great!!! :D

It looks awesome Bec!! I saw tht post on craftster and made a shrug for my daughter. I just posted it on my blog yesterday:lol . I love yours. Did you just do a longer rectangle to get longer sleeves than hers?

What a great shrug. Great job Bec, and Jessi as well. I saw that shrug on craftster, and was just waiting to have time (who am I kidding, time!) to try out that stitch. It looks like it would be perfect for summer, nice and light.

Hey Bec

that looks great, I have just completed a poncho in the "inca" and it is lovely to work with. I used a the variagated one in the deep pinks and maroons. Job well done
