I've made a few beaded spiders from some inspiring pieces I've seen on the net. I thought they were really neat and wanted to share. You can sneak a peek on my blog:

I was looking at them from another post. They are awesome. I am amazed that you just saw them and decided to make them yourself. I couldn't just look at them and make one! Your blog is fabulous, by the way.

Thanks for all of your compliments. Once you get the hang of it, they might take 20 minutes a piece. If you're leisurely doing them, then a bit longer obviously. I saw them and put together what I thought would look similar. I've made a few more for my hourglasses in the past couple of days. They're fun to make. :D

Very nice spider and great job too Alesha. When done in black and red, they make great Halloween decorations too.

I did the same for Xmas gifts last year including a little card with the story.
I wrapped them in a piece of Xmas fabric then put them in small boxes like the Chinese Food To-Go boxes. I also painted a spider and a Christmas tree on the box the same color as the one that was in the box. Then added filigree all over the box for more decos.

They are great - I did some a few years ago also for Christmas.
In case someone wants to know the story about the 'Christmas Spider' check it here:

I love these. I also made them one year and told the Christmas Spider story to my kids.
