Homespun ruffle neded

I had some leftover white Homespun, so I started a baby afghan. I want to put a ruffle on the edge. Can I use Homespun for any pattern? I have one that's exactly what I want, but it calls for being made with regular yarn.

Yes, you can use the Homespun to make any ruffle pattern - be aware that the gauge listed on the pattern will not be the same however.
