Endweaver9000! Got his slippers!

Today I finished a brand new attempt at the padded sole slippers that I have tried before. I have to say when cutting the insoles, don't cut to shoe size, lesson learned for next time. I don't love them, which is why I have stopped while making them several times before. But they are done and he isn't even wearing them. Nope, said they make his feet hot :think

Slippers!:clap:clap:clap Thank you for finishing my slippers DW, the're very comfy. I did wear them for about four hours before taking them off, those things are little ovens!:hot

I appreciate all your hard work making my feets comfy:manyheart More when winter comes.

P.S. Although, with the time it took you to finish them, perhaps you should start another pair for when these ones wear out in a few years.

Yay! Terrific! Endweaver, you got your :hot slippers! Suggestion: just wear a pair of sandals in warm weather. That's what I do. Unless you must have a pair that DW has made. In that case, I have a suggestion for her:Now, Laura, don't start throwing shoes/slippers at me, but how 'bout a pair in cotton for warm weather?

I made a pair of slippers for my husband and he doesn't wear them, either. :( "They're too loose". :think It is too hot here to wear slippers anyway (at least for a couple more months...)

If they are too loose you could add a row of slip stitches to tighten them. I had to undo the slip stitches on the pair I made myself because they were too small otherwise.

I was thinking about making some loops to thread a tie in, so he could make a nice little bow. :devil Seriously, though. That or maybe put some elastic in it? :think
