Does anyone know of a pattern for a v stitch stole?

This has the how to, but it has the number of stitches you need for each v-st, so you could make your own.

It says "Start by working a chain in multiples of 3 stitches, plus an extra 2" So you work your chain the length or width you want (as much as possible) to make a multiple of 3 and add 2 stitches. So for example, you can chain 78 (which would give you the multple of 3 [3x26]) then you add 2 more stitches and work your pattern.
