I have a "My Size Barbie" (around 38" tall) in need of clothes. :eek You see she is currently in a state of undress :blush. I would love patterns to crochet for her or sew (if necessary, I don't really like to sew). If anyone has suggestions I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance :hug

You could try here:

There are alot of barbie patterns. Not sure about MSB, but maybe you could adapt some of the regular barbie patterns. Or maybe try cpc.

Here's a link for sewing patterns. They're not free though but some are pretty cute. http://www.morrisseydolls.com/Barbie36.html

When I did a search there were several mentions of yahoo groups for ms barbie so you may want to check some of them out.

Good luck!:crocheting

What are her chest and length measurements? Maybe some of the baby dress patterns could be adapted. Use the bodice and then add a few rows in to get the required length?

My first thought was toddler clothes. You might have to adjust them slightly but much easier than trying to convert little Barbie clothes.

I am pretty sure that any 2T-3T clothes will fit her. From all that I have seen and read she is roughly a 3 year old size, so i would say try a 3T pattern that you like and then see how it fits and make adjustments if necessary.

I have a couple of My Size Barbies that I'm working on making some out fits for,
I've got one dress half done and a few more in my mind The one I'm working on will be a free one ,I'm not sure about the other ones yet

Diane, I can hardly wait to see your dress, hope you post a pic when you get it done.

:thinkI may just decide to wing it and try to design something to fit her on my own or until Diane gets hers finished (just a little hint that I would love the pattern :yes). I'm not great at it though, since I hate to frog and run out of patience quickly. But I dislike sewing more than frogging :devil.

:hug Thanks to everyone for the wonderful suggestions.
