It's a... um... bookmark?!?

Or at least that was what it started out to be! Unfortunately, after two evenings of hand cramping work, I realized that I had read the pattern wrong. :eek

It was too much to frog, and I definitely didn't want to spend 2 more nights finishing it that way! :blush So I decided to finish it off where it was, and then the little voice said, turn it into a ring... and it actually looked good, thank goodness!

I think it's going to become a picture frame, but that's still up in the air. I'm just glad I realized I had messed up when it was halfway done and not 2/3 or something... and I'm glad the thread was variegated the way it was!

Now that is adorable! Probably wouldn't work for a bookmark, depending on the size...but I agree it would look nice under a flower pot. Or even candle holder?? It is cute though!

For size reference, it is about 3 1/2 inches across, the middle hole is right about 2 inches. :D

It would look pretty around a candle, but we have a kitty that gets into and onto everything, and we're all seriously allergic to anything scented. And I kinda wanna keep it :lol

definitely too pretty to frog - it could go on the bottom of a wine bottle? or add some, maybe 8, long threads on the sides and frame it inside a nice wooden embroidery hoop?
