more Poncho help

Hi, I am trying to do a poncho as well, and I have a feeling I am way over my head. It says (1 dc, 5 ch and 1 dtr) into ch sp. So does that mean do all the things in the parinthesis into the one ch sp?? help!! :bang

Yep, that sounds exactly right. I always think to myself when I read something along those lines that I must be wrong. So I take a deep breath and dive in. Yep, I agree, too. When it's in parentheses like that, you do it all in the specified stitch -- in this case, into the ch sp.
