Well I have been at it again. This is my newest design. It is my latest of my pineapple series. I am calling this one Metropolitan. It is done in a light purple size 10 thread. I used my size 7/1.65mm hook, It measures 17.5 inches across. This one was a pleasure to create. I was trying to create an interesting yet fairly easy doily. This one uses pretty basic stitches and techniques.

I look forward to hearing what you all think of this one.

A real beauty Kathy! For someone who doesn't especially like pineapples, you sure do design them wonderfully!

Very, very pretty, Kathy. If I wasn't already testing, I would volunteer, but I don't want to get you backed up.
Still, if you need someone, and can give me time.... ;) I think I am almost as addicted to testing your patterns as you are to designing them! :lol

It's lovely, Kathy, and I think it's wonderful that a relative beginner can use basic stitches to make something that looks really complex and impressive ( I think that's part of why I got addicted to making doilies, lo, these many years ago). For someone who doesn't especially love pineapples, you are doing a great job with them!

Thank you Everyone once again,
It's lovely, Kathy, and I think it's wonderful that a relative beginner can use basic stitches to make something that looks really complex and impressive ( I think that's part of why I got addicted to making doilies, lo, these many years ago). For someone who doesn't especially love pineapples, you are doing a great job with them! I have challenged myself to come up with 6 unique and interesting Pineapple designs. This is the 5th and I am working on the 6th.
I have tried to come up with something different twist to each of my designs. I do love a challenge

It's another work of art! It has a classic look, very sophisticated style. The light purple helps bring out the regal qualities. Exquisite!
