Textured Crochet stitch

I am looking for an easy textured crochet stitch, similar the star stitch. I tried the star stitch, but was not successful. :angry I tried it several times and each time was worse than the one before, LOLOLOLOL If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful:cheer:clap:yes!!!!!!

There are lots of ways to produce texture.
What are you trying to do with the stitch?

The Art of Crochet by Teresa, has lots of wonderful video tutorials on youtube that are super, you might watch the video on the star stitch, it made it easy for me, and she has other things that might help too.
