I made an afghan years ago and now my daughter wants one for Christmas for her boyfriend.
And of course I cannot find the pattern.
I'm new here so I have to search abd find how I upload a picture of the afghan I had made to help find this.
It was all double crochet and then the pattern was to chain 6, hold the chain down for a couple rows, then pick it up with a slip stitch.
But I can't remeber how many to crochet in between chains or how many rows to go before you picked up the chain.

I can't help you either, but it is beautiful, and quite original. I'd be interested in the pattern too.

Thanks for the compliments.
I thought I had the pattern and started it already.:lol
I know its a double crochet with the second color then turn and chain, but there I am stuck.
Oh well, I will work on my sons cat bed and my daughters granny square afghan and hope very soon someone can help or I will never get it done by Christmas.
To bad I can't crochet at work everyday. Then I wouldn't have to worry about time!:)

Woo!
I found it!!
Its called a Zig Zag Chain. But patterns with that name now sure don't resemble this.
Its single crochet, not double and chain 8 not 6. lol
Its in a magazine from 1987.
Thanks everyone!!
