I used Mrs. Who's fluffy pink shrug schematics to create this shrug in a mohair-like baby weight yarn. I think it turned out pretty nice, and sooooo easy. My friend Jennifer is modeling it, I ended up giving it to her.

Alright, who is Mrs. Who?
She shared the pattern with you.
Do you have a clue
If she'll share it with me too?
I do hope this is true,
'Cause I want one too.
That really is nice and I really would like the pattern. You did a lovely job.

It's really beautiful. I love how the back drapes a little. I keep thinking when I make them that they need to be tight across the back. I hope your friends appreciate your generosity.

I'm curious how your back is so long. The ones I've made the back doesn't come down as low. Did you crochet cuff to cuff, or the other way. Did you add more stitches as you got to the back, or is the width the same the whole way?

I took a tape measure and measured the widest part of my upper arm, this determined my starting chain (granted I added a few stitches so it wouldn't be tight).
Row 1: trc in each stitch.
Row 2: ch 5 (counts as 1st trc); trc in next stitch; *ch 1; skip next stitch; trc in next 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * to end of row, ending in 2 trc. Row 3: trc in each stitch across (including ch 1 spaces) Repeat row 2 - 3 to desired lenghth.
Fold over.
I had to use safety pins and try it on several times to see if I got the length right, I am not sure how many rows I did, that mohair yarn is probably baby weight, it is two ply. When I was a long as I wanted it, I used those safety pins as a guide and crocheted using 3 sc in the side of each row. I was surprised at how easy this was.
