Description:Crocheted Beaded Card Case (4" by 2-3/4"). If you have ever admired a beaded purse, belt, choker but thought the techniques were way out of you abilities. This is your opportunity to learn a new skill that looks tough but in reality is rather simple. In this class you will learn:
Basic bead crochet
How to read a chart
How to string beads in a pattern
How to line your case
Exclusive pattern designed just for this class included. Pictorial provided. You will learn skills that will enable you to add beads to your work, whether as an accent to your work or a totally beaded piece.
Supplies Needed:
Size 10 seed beads. Three colors of your choice. Main Color Suggest a light color for your back ground as this makes it easier to see. Contrasting color and an Accent color. You will need about 50 grams main color. 15 grams contrasting color and 5 grams accent color.
(I used beads I purchased at Joann's and Michaels for this piece. You will not need to hunt high and low for the right beads. These are standard stock beads for both of them.)
Size 10 thread in a cordinating color to you main color of beads, about 70 yards.
Size 7/1.65mm or 8/1.5mm hook
A beading needle that will fit your thread. I used a looped needle threader by Dritz.
needle to sew up case when complete.
Small amount of fabric for lining. ( Optional )

Small amount of felt for flap. Optional 4 inch by 1 1/2 inch will do.
