My friend got a beautiful baby blanket for her shower yesterday, and I'd love to find the pattern. Unfortunately the lady who made it either wasn't at the shower or she left before I could ask her. I didn't know her, so I don't know. I asked my friend's grandma and she said she'd try to get the info for me, but you ladies might know.

It looked like 2 layers. One layer was done in white, with an openwork shell kind of pattern, and then under it was a colored layer that showed through the open areas of the white. I have no idea if they are crocheted together or separately and then sewn together. I have almost no idea about the pattern except that I liked it and I'd love to find it. Any ideas?

Can you maybe get a picture of it?

It could be crochetknit. I made a blanket for my daughter that was with shells and it had 2 colors and was reversible. I found it. Here's the link. Its kind of hard to see the white against the pink, but the one I make was yellow and green and it looks great!

That could be it Denise! I think I'll print it out and try it. Thanks!

It is a very pretty pattern and the blanket is a good size. My daughter loves it.
