OK, I found a picture of a fleece pair called "Smittens"

Maybe someone can write a pattern?

I will keep looking!

What a cute idea!! I think it would be easy to make up your own pattern for the smitten like the one on etsy, basically start off with a sc beanie hat pattern, stop increasing when you get the circumference you want, work straight for the length, then divide the 'brim' in two and make 2 cuffs. You'd probably want to find a mitten pattern first and make it up, then make the smitten to correspond (assuming you want smitten and single mitten set).

I've never made mittens, but this one looks simpler than most and has instructions for sizing.

edit - you'd have to make the circumference of the smitten roomy enough for 2 wrists, cuff and some wiggle room.

If you don't mind a seam, you could also make 2 of the above mittens without the thumbs but wide enough for the cuff, sew together the 2 seams excluding the cuffs, so you'd have a tube; then fold and sew the individual cuff sides together.

I'd like to see it! That's part of the fun, getting inspired by others' projects.

There is a FAQ section in the "Town Hall" part of the forum, here's the listing on how to post photos:
