one lady here did a Marilyn Monroe; from I believe a cross stitch pattern.
Maybe you could get some tips from her.
If you "searched Marilyn Monroe " I am sure the thread will come up.

Someone posted on here not very long ago a website that can turn a picture into a graph,it was really neat,I'll try to hunt that up.

If you have a picture, this will place it in graph form - the web site is:
http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/
I do a lot of graph-aghans and the best place I've found is to find a cross stitch one of what I want on the afghan and just work from there.
I just make the 'like' colors one color, ie. like all the different shades of blue, one color of blue, etc.
And if there is background on the cross stitch that I don't want, I keep that out of the afghan.
If you need to enlarge it, just add like colored squares to the graph around the same colored squares.

Have you tried printing a picture out on graph paper?

Most photos of Elvis are still likely to be under copyright protection, which means anyone wanting to use one to create a pattern to be distributed would need to get permission from the owner of the copyright.
I'm not aware of any officially licensed Elvis patterns.
As usual, if any unlicensed patterns exist, Crochetville's guidelines do not allow links to them, discussion of them, or hints at how to find them to be posted here.
STANDARD DISCLAIMER: If anyone knows of an officially licensed pattern (the site would say the pattern was licensed or make some other statement they had permission from the copyright owner of the photo to distribute the pattern made from the photo), you can post the information here. But please, be VERY sure before you post it that it really is licensed. Just because a pattern is available on the internet, does NOT make it licensed. If you have any questions at all about whether the pattern is licensed, you're welcome to email the link to me and ask me if that site fits our guidelines for a link to be posted here.
