I'm making a flapper type beanie hat. The pattern includes one huge flower on the side of it. My daughter has told me she would prefer a smaller flower. Does anyone know of a pattern for a small flower that can be sewed onto a flapper beanie hat? no, I don't know how to just make the pattern flower smaller. I'm kinda new to crocheting and have never attempted to design, change or make my own patterns yet. :eek
I will get there eventually! :hook until then, I prefer to follow a pattern so I can't screw it up! :blush
thanks!

Do a search for Fridgie flowers there are a ton of sites. In case you are unfamiliar with the term, fridgies are little crocheted and knitted items that you make and then put a magnet on the back to attach to your refridgerator. You could make a fridgie flower (they are all different sizes) and just sew or crochet the edges onto the hat.

YankeeBlue, if you like the flower that is with the pattern but just want a smaller size; you can always use a smaller size hook. IE, if you're using an H hook try a G or even an F. You follow the pattern the same, but the smaller hook produces a smaller flower. HTH
