I'm hoping someone will have a better memory than I have about this! I'm trying to find a christmas stocking pattern which I made for my eldest grandchild who was born in 2001. I am almost sure it was in a magazine, and that I would not have thrown it away because I never do.
It was an afghan crochet pattern, and there were two designs, I remember. The one I made had a christmas mouse on it - can't remember the other one.
Now I have new grandchildren, and although I am making stockings for them of course, requests have been made for two more, just like the mouse one!
I made it for the first christmas, so it would not have been in a magazine any later than 2001. Probably not too much earlier than that either, but I can't be sure.
I am hunting and hunting through my piles of magazines, and it hasn't turned up, so I would be very very grateful if someone can tell me what I am looking for!
