I finished my purse cradle and posted it to my blog along with a few other things I've crocheted fairly recently.

Here are some books that I've used as a baseline

Also sometimes there are dresses in crochet and crochet fantasy magazines. I think crochet fantasy has a jumper in its current issue. An indian one, but I'm going to adapt it to just a jumper without the frills on it.
I also have some vintage dress books which is the base of her bday dress, but the dress was to open for my taste so I adapted it. Plus I try not to use needles that are too small because it just takes to long to make clothes for a child that will grow out of it so fast.
The purple jumper was my creation using tunisian crochet for the skirt part, then switching to half double crochet for the top part.

What an adorable girl she is! I totally agree that she's trying to tell you she wants a matching pink hat ;) Wish I had someone with a little girl so I could make a doll cradle too ... it's enough to make me start playing with dolls myself :D

Adorable burse cradle.:cheer Love the precious little one holding it.
Noticed she was a Dora Fan.
You do some beautiful work. I wish my granddaughters were closer. Of course if they were, I would never have any stash.:lol

I like the size of the purse, I have only seen these cradle purses really small. Great stash buster project. I'll have to remember to make some of these for gifts. :)

Its not easy with one almost 2 and a boy thats 4.5... and a black cat!!! The floor goes from the foyer through the dining room, and through a hallway a bathroom and finally ends up it a really large kitchen. So there is a lot of sliding, pushing of boxes and push toys, etc on this floor, and dh and I trying to keep it presentable.
