Looking for Crochet hat pattern

Hi...I want to crochet a little hat for my 2 year-old daughter. Does anyone have a pattern...where you start at the top and work your way down...you know kinda like the granny-square style with holes in it? I think I want one for me as well....with a big nice flower attached to it :)
