I might be interested in this, too. I really liked the Double Crochet class, which was sort of like Tunisian, only with two colors going at the same time.

It is using a tunisian technique, but you can use just a standard crochet hook too if you want.

I hope you all will sign up. It is going to be a lot of fun! :)

Can't wait till this starts. I'd really like to learn how to do this in the round eventually but a scarf is a great place to start.

I was going to talk a little bit about working in the round in the class. It isnt hard at all. You just have to join a bit differently is all!

I really wanted to be in on this, but all the car work we just needed done, killed my budget. Will you be doing it again later in the year?

Probably not this year. I have so many classes coming up in the future, but if there is enough interest in having another class, I will see what I can do!

I would be interested. I lost my job and can't justify taking a class over food for the table. I really want to learn this and hope that soon I will have a job so that I can take one of your classes. On the bright side,I have been making a dent in my stash...Yah...LOL

I did a wild and crazy thing and went out to the LYS and bought yarn for the scarf. I was going to make do with yarn in my stash (which I probably still will for practice), but I decided I wanted to use some good yarn to make the actual scarf. I got a skein of Lamb's Pride Worsted in a rust color and one in a dark green (I already had an off-white at home).

You picked a great yarn for the scarf! I cannot wait to see it!

Before I register, I need to know if wool has to be used (as in the project must be felted). I'm allergic to wool! Thanks! I'm really interested in this so I hope wool is not required even if it looks different in the end.

No you dont have to use wool. I will talk about felting.. but you dont need it for this project! Acrylic or any other fiber will work well!
