I just thought I would bump this class up on the new posts lists! I hope to see lots of you here! :)

I scheduled this class before my book, Savvy Single Crochet, came out from Annies Attic. If you have seen the book or have it, this is your chance to learn the technique with me!

Would it be possible for you to post a close up picture of the stitches for me to see?

Thanks!

When registration opens, we'll have a big notice appearing at the top of the forum announcing that registration is open. We'll also have some banner ads that will mention the opening date of class registration as well.

You will be learning just the stitches. It is a pure technique class. However, at the end of the class you will also be getting a couple of patterns to start with!

I have just registered also. I always thought there was only one way to do single crochet. I'm excited to learn more!

Just curious - why do you specify steel only yarn needles? My favorite is Chibi, which I think is aluminum (but I'm not sure about that).

The chibis are aluminum or steel, and are totally fine! :) I just dont like plastic needles because they tend to distort your stitches

I will warn you.. AA edited out a lot of IMPORTANT INFORMATION needed to do this technique. I wasn't too thrilled to see that!

If anyone wants an autographed copy, let me know.

Not a Silly Question at all!

What you know as the Sc is the American Sc. In Europe they call a single crochet a Double Crochet. Since this is an American site but there are some members from other countries, I thought I better state it as the American Sc!

I'm interested in an autographed copy. I was so close to buying that book the other day, but wasn't sure whether I'd be buying the same patterns twice.

The patterns in the book are different than what you will get in class. Autographed copies of the AA book are available at my website!

I know what you mean! Since I registered for this class on Monday, the earth has basically stopped revolving around the sun. July 3rd is never going to arrive.

I'm looking forward to starting this class, but most likely won't get back in here until Sunday night or Monday. My friend is getting married this weekend and I'm a bridesmaid so I'm going to be pretty busy. I'm going to try to log in on Friday but I have no idea if that will happen. I've packed the supplies just in case...Hopefully I'll get to use them!

Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
