I have seen at decorator parties, these doily type things that go around a jar top of a candle. Some have beads and some don't . Everyone I know loves candles so these would be perfect.

Not sure if this is what you mean but I LOVE this pattern from here http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7703 I made it with a few less stitches. Maybe my glass was smaller, but at any rate I liked it smaller.

Busy Bee, that is one form I was looking for! Thank you! I am also looking for something smaller that goes around a Yankee jar candle.

I couldn't find anything else that's why I suggested modifying an edging, if no one else comes up with anything.
