I saw a dragonfly recently in one of the (current) crochet magazines. Maybe someone else has better memory.

It's gorgeous. But couldn't you just crochet the heart doily then add the dragonfly. There is a free pattern on the web for a dragonfly. Dragonfly pattern (http://www.kreinik.com/kshop/product.php?productid=124&cat=33&page=2)

Hiya Angie!!:cheer
I have the very same basic heart pattern . Found it at one of the french sites. I have only the schematics for the heart. Maybe you could use tyhe dragonfly from the kreinik website and then add those irish roses:) let me know :)

Ooooooooooo gorgeous! (Love that!) The others are right...find a basic heart, give it some scallops, attach roses and leaves and the dragonfly from separate patterns and there you are! :clap

I looked up all kinds of combinations of the words crochet, dragonfly, doily, heart and nothing but filet crochet stuff came up. I, too, would love to make that pattern. I think it's gorgeous.

Crochet! magazine (July) also has a dragonfly, one with beads.
