My mother in laws birthday is July 7th. I made her this

sweater using the pattern from Crochet for Caring and Sharing, by Carol Alexander. I think MIL will like it..at least I hope she does. :eek

Great job! It seems so hard to find good crocheted patterns for womens clothes but that turned out great!

Beautiful! I once "knew" Carol Alexander, she belonged to a mailing list I used to belong to. Her patterns are wonderful, aren't they?

The sweater is wonderful! I am in the process of making my first real sweater. I hope someday to complete it! I've been working on it off and on since October. It is a pattern that I get bored with easily, but I want to finish it. It will be very pretty when it is done!

How long did it take you to make this beautiful sweater? Btw: your mil is going to love it!

You can't really judge how long it takes by my crocheting. I did it off and on, I'd say, for probably two weeks? I had other things I was working on while I was doing it. lol

As far as the stitch, it's just a repeatitve stitch of sc, dc, sc, dc throughout the whole sweater. I got bored easily...lol

But I was thrilled with how it turned out... I really like it.
