Kristin Omdahl's new book, Wrapped in Crochet, is full of scarf, wrap, and shawl patterns for those of us who love to wrap ourselves in warm, snuggly crochet.

If you are interested in learning about a number of different crochet techniques this book is for you. Kristin features patterns using a number of different crochet techniques, such as hairpin lace, broomstick lace, colorwork, Tunisian crochet, corkscrews and more.

Kristin has included shawls in a number of different shapes, such as circular, square, rectangular, and oval, as well as a number of very unique scarves. You'll also find patterns for capes and cardi-wraps.

As an outgrowth of the prayer shawl ministry program, many people are now enjoying making "friendship" shawls for people close to them. Those making friendship shawls are more apt to be looking for a variety of interesting, unique shawls that can made from a number of different types of yarn. If you want a really special shawl pattern to make for someone close to you, you'll be sure to find something you like in Kristin's book.

I think the book is fabulous, however, as I started reading the pattern for the Infinity wrap, I noticed it was wrong and looked on the chart for redirection. I also found the pattern in the Interweave Mag (don't remember which issue) and the pattern was still a little different. Was wondering if anyone has any advice. I love this so much that I'm thinking of doing both, I even bought the malabrigo lace yarn for the one in the book.

Any help is appriciated.
