Hi All, I don't know if this is OK to do, still very new!!
It's my Mum's 65th birthday in October, and she wants a wrap. I think I can do it, but does anyone know of a simple, effective pattern I could tackle?:think She's off on a cruise for her birthday (lucky her!) so wants it to take with her. I've seen a pattern on the Lion Brand site, done in Microspun, but thought I'd pick the brains of you folk in case there's something better out there!
Thanks in advance:)

Thanks in advance:) I have a pattern on my blog for a wrap called Pretty as a Peacock Stole (http://bythehook.blogdrive.com/archive/139.html). It's really easy to do, too. :hook

That is beautiful, and such a quick reply thank you!:hug Now, one more question, I'm in the UK so what weight yarn is it? Is it worsted:think or bulky, or something lighter weight?

I have made this wrap. http://www.modadea.com/patterns/LM0135.htm (http://www.modadea.com/patterns/LM0135.htm)
I have also used this mobius scarf pattern
http://home.att.net/~susanBinKC/patterns/mobius.html (http://home.att.net/~susanBinKC/patterns/mobius.html)
and just made it wider and longer to come up with a wrap that looks similar to this knit pattern.

Thanks for that - more ideas! I won't be able to choose and will have to make more than one!
You really are great folk!

Alison Here's a link to the Bernat Super Value (http://www.bernat.com/product.php?P=1&LGC=supervalue)yarn page that gives you all the yarn information. I hope that helps. :hook
