Ugh, it is just too hot here to be buried underneath a heavy afghan! So I decided that I'd make granny squares with my scraps and odd bits of yarn.

14 down, approximately what, 600 to go? :think I have delusions of it covering my son's bed! I figure he'll appreicate the multicolored mess it's going to be when it's finished! :)

Patchwork blankets are my favorite! And you're not dragging a huge project with you. Looking good.

Your son will love it! I made our two older boys afghans (no time after the third one was born, until lately, to make one for him...) ;) and they both love them. The one fell apart he "loved" it so much. :D (Actually, it wasn't that, but...) Way to go! :clap

What a great idea! I am sure that your son will love it!

It is not that hot here in Brussels, but if it does get any hotter I will be searching for some small projects, and something similar might fit the need!

That will be really cute when it is finished! Are you joining them already, or just chucking them in a pile? I love crocheting in the round!

This project is either going to turn me into a crochet goddess or drive me insane, not sure which it will be just yet! :devil
