I'll be doing another forum software upgrade soon. If I can manage it, I will do it late tonight, but if not, it should be within the next few days.
The last upgrade took 17 minutes. I am going to try to beat that this time for the actual upgrade process, but I have an additional task to complete this time which will add a little time to that.

Thank you all for your patience! :yes :ghug
This one took quite a bit longer than I'd have liked: 36 minutes from 5:07 to 5:43 am Eastern Time.
The upgrade is complete and all is well! I'm still working on some post-upgrade maintenance, but for all practical purposes, it's done!

Okay the after-upgrade maintenance is done! :cheer This involves re-adding our little (and some big) customizations that improve the forum display for our needs. They often have to get reverted (cleared out) because of updated code.
I'm so happy! Feels like spring cleaning! :P

Did that include the updates in the user CP section? Found a lot of new neat changes, but not sure if that happened overnight, or the meds I've been on have really fogged up my brain.
Either way, now or earlier, Thanks I like it alot, easier to see and select things now.

Well, vBulletin is always adding improvements to the software. It's hard to keep up with every change. But I didn't specifically notice any changes in the User CP. However, when we did the last upgrade in October, there were significant changes in the layout of the member profile pages. What were some of the things you noticed?

I noticed that there is a quick reply to pms now. I love that. It's taking a little bit of getting used to but it's really cool though.
Thanks

At the bottom of the list messages page is a display options section where you can select messages by sender, title and even a date filter.
Maybe it was there all along and I didn't notice it?

Yep, these things are both new! You guys are observant and quick! I hadn't noticed them yet. :blush
Regarding the PM quick reply, if you prefer to reply the old way, you can still click the old Reply button or the Go Advanced button under quick reply.

Timestamps are off right now. This is not related to the vBulletin forum software upgrade, but an upgrade of other software we use on Crochetville. I am working on this problem. I likely will not be able to correct the existing incorrect timestamps, but I am trying to figure out how to stop it from continuing.

Like I said. I love the new way. Our computer is really slow so sometimes waiting for the message to load, then waiting for the reply to message box to load can take absolutely forever so the PM quick reply is so nice. It's already saved me so much time.
Thanks for all you do!!
