I was a little bored today so I decided to work up a few hats. All of them are Julee Originals.

This Heart Hat is probably the only Valentines design I've ever made but I'm really happy with it. It was really fun.
I'd say it would be a child size Large but it would be super easy to adjust the size for an younger child or an adult. I'll be working on this pattern tonight then hopefully tested in the next few days and then listed in my etsy shop.

The green hat with the tigers tooth look is one I've been making for a long time. I'll probably write up the pattern for that one (really only 4-5 rows of pattern to write so it should be super easy).

The striped one was made by using Sc and HDC rnds and a Front Post, Back Post ribbing. Also really fun and super easy.

Thanks for looking!!

Sorry the picture quality isn't the best. I tried to make it a little clearer but I'm having a hard time of it.

Thanks Sheila!! The pattern is actually the secret to my hats. Almost every hat I've made ever is based off of one pattern and one stitch (HDC). It's always worked up really quickly. Been using the same one since I started crocheting hats when I was about 13 (maybe 14).

I love your hats, especially the heart one. I just started making hats about 4 months ago and I'm addicted. They are so much fun to make. I'm using patterns though Julee, afraid I'm not talented like you. I'm thinking of trying one on my own but not feeling all that confident. :lol Maybe I should stick to patterns made by those who know what they are doing.

Oh, designing is really fun and it really isn't as hard as it looks.

I'd say try it and if something doesn't turn out right don't be afraid to frog it (rip it out) and start over again. When I first started designing I had to frog quite a bit until I started figuring out ways to get something to turn out exactly like I wanted it to the first or second try. Alot of the times it just takes thinking the process through before actually crocheting the item. Saves alot of frogging.

:cheerGood luck with designing!!:cheer Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Thanks

I love it in the pink! I think it's my favorite. Will you also be putting the neck warmer that matches this (and you had in the 12 scarves CAL :D) in your store? I want them both! Because I just :manyheart them!

Hmm, I didn't have a neck warmer pattern made up. I'll have to go and see if I can figure out what you're referring to.

Have a great Valentines day!!

Is this the scarf you were talking about? FeederofthePack made it. It is REALLY adorable.

Julee

No, that's not it. :think maybe I'm losing my mind :eek I remember seeing a picture of your original hat in red with what looked like a neck warmer to match beside the "head" the hat was on. Maybe it was another hat laying beside it, I don't know or maybe I just "dreamed" it. Thanks. Although, would love the pattern for the above too :hook

Thanks Cissy!!

The PIF thread really grew into something else didn't it!!! It's so neat to see people giving to other people just because they can. Can't wait to see how long this goes for and how many more people get involved.
