Remove old posts with missing photos

Is there a way we can remove the old posts? eg I get dissapointed when I do a search and find posts in show and tell, and the photos are no longer available.

There should be very few show and tell threads left that are missing photos. Our show-and-tell organizers spent I don't know how many hundreds or even thousands of hours moving show-and-tell threads with missing posts into an archive area.

Of course, people may move or delete photos or delete entire photo-sharing sites at any time, so this will always be a problem as people are linking to photos stored off site. There could be threads that have had photos go missing since the main reorganization was completed.

It's hard to remove old threads/posts. There are so many, we just don't have time to go through searching (especially if we included threads outside of show and tell) individually for threads/posts in which photo links were broken. If we just deleted all threads/posts over a certain age, then we'd remove too much valuable content.

We are working on some plans to help eliminate the missing photo problem with future posts. We're not ready to make that announcement with all the details quite yet----but it's coming soon.

I worked on the clean up committee so if you come by a post that doesn't have any pics in it, please let me know and I will move it

We try and keep up with the newer posts and move them if they don't meet the board requirements, but we do not review posts that we have already looked at.
