How to Customize the New Posts Link
In the navigation bar at the top of all Crochetville forum pages, there is a New Posts link. The purpose of this is to see a list of the new posts since your last visit to the forum.
You can choose how your New Posts link displays. If you do nothing, you will get the default drop-down menu with two links, Sort by Time and Sort by Forum. There are three options for the New Posts link:
Drop-down menu with both choices
Plain link (no drop-down) that sorts by time
Plain link (no drop-down) that sorts by forum
To change how your New Posts link displays, go to your User CP (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/usercp.php) (the User CP link is in the upper left-hand corner of the forum navigation bar). Scroll down until you see the heading Settings & Options in the left-hand menu. Under that, click on Edit Options. Scroll all the way down to Miscellaneous Options. Click the raido button next to the option of your choice (Drop-down menu with both choices, Sort by time, or Sort by forum). Click the Save Changes button. Done. You can change this setting again at any time if you like.
