Well since my dd announced that I will be a grandmother again I decided I should get busy and make a baby blanket.
This baby blanket measures 35 inches square, I used Bernat Softee baby yarn in mint green and white since we still don't know if it's to be a boy or girl. I put a rose on it but will remove it if it's a boy. I used a size E/3.5mm hook. I am calling it Lullaby Serenade. Anyways here is my take on a Diagonal Box stitch baby blanket.

Thank you everyone for you kind remarks and you good thoughts about our June baby grandchild. It's beautiful and I can't imagine what you will crochet especially if its a little girl - :cheer Unfortunately my daughters taste is totally different than mine and making beautiful dresses and hats would be a waste of time. I know it was that way on her first child. I am thinking very practical. Not my norm, but what's a mother to do..................
