sweater pattern for chenelle yarn

I am looking for a simple pattern for a pull-over sweater. I have chenelle yarn and it is too thick for the patterns I have tried. Does anyone have something that will work with thick yarn? The easier the pattern, the better, I am just learning to do sweaters!
